Network at Noon Mini Trade Show

What a great time we had a Net at Noon! There were about 30 businesses that exhibited their products/services, plus some additional members who chose to use their creativity to decorate a luncheon table. This year’s theme was “Keepin’ it Real” and tables were decorated based on reality TV shows. Our Net at Noon Luncheon was even visited by a Flash Mob, thanks to one of our newest members, Rosa Martinez of Rosa’s Dance/Fitness Studio.

Thank You to the Valley Animal Center and Twin Pomegranates Wine for a Fantastic “Summer Getaway”

This July, Fresno Women’s Network members escaped the heat to hang out with some cool cats and dogs at the Valley Animal Center, a no-kill shelter for dogs, puppies, cats, and kittens. As a part of the Fresno Women’s Network, the organization hosted a mixer to allow guests to tour the shelter, meet the adorable adoptables, and taste some fantastic wines from their friends at Twin Pomegranates Wine!

Nick and Brian Davis, Owners of Twin Pomegranates Wine, poured three of their favorite wines, including their popular sparkling pomegranate wine. It was a huge hit with the mixer guests, and a wonderful accompaniment to the cheese, crackers, and snacks at the mixer.

At the event, members also had the opportunity to participate in a fundraiser raffle to raise funds for the Fresno Women’s Network “Public Relations” Committee. A grand prize ticket package for the Dog Days of Summer Grizzlies Game on July 30^th was won by President Jennie Guadagno, who will be taking her grandson who is very excited!

FWN Members hike for charity!

We're proud of long-time Fresno Women's Network members (Kellie Psaila & Susan Noel), who will be backpacking across the Sierras to Mt. Whitney later this month, to raise funds for several local charities.

Both Kellie & Susan have both been active members of FWN for many years, and have served on several committees, as well as on the board of directors. Kellie was President of FWN in 2006.

Fresno Women's Network's mission is to "provide opportunities for business, personal and professional growth. Members are encouraged to build relationships, mentor one another, and give back to the community". Kellie & Susan are doing exactly that!
