New Member Orientation

The Fresno Women's Network held its New Member Orientation on Friday, May 6, 2011. We would like to thank Girls Scouts of Central California South for generously providing the facility and providing the dessert – you guessed it COOKIES! Thank you Cathy Ferguson!

We had a great time involving new members in the benefits of the Fresno Women’s Network and we all had a chance to network and learn a little more about one another. Due to your support, we were able to welcome many new members to our fantastic organization with recommendations on how to“join in” and give of our talents.

What a wonderful time everyone had at our May Luncheon. This luncheon to dedicated to honoring our Non-Profit members. Those honored on May 10th included:

A stellar panel was assembled to discuss everything you need to know about making the personal choice of investing your time, talent, and treasure into a non-profit. Blair Looney, CEO of the Better Business Bureau, focused on how to properly research a non-profit. Dan DeSantis, CEO of the Fresno Regional Foundation, addressed how to choose when to give financially to a non-profit. Cathy Caples, Executive Director of Hands On Fresno, addressed how to volunteer and keep track of your hours.
